Global GSA compie 10 anni: l’Agenzia di Viaggi Magazine intervista Manlio Olivero

A bustling anniversary party at the Gdsm Global offices in Milan celebrated the first 10 years of Global Gsa, the tourism representation company founded by Manlio Olivero, who serves as president and CEO.

Eighty operators, including travel agencies, tour operators, networks, and business travel centers,attended the evening that marked a whole year of trade-focused events across the peninsula, with stops in Naples, Bologna, Genoa, Rome, Bari, Turin, Verona, Treviso, conducted with the spirit of emphasizing the centrality of the value of relationships in the market.

“For 10 years, Global Gsa has been alongside travel agencies and tour operators, providing daily support through a highly qualified help desk and an operational sales team in the territory,” said Manlio Olivero. “We chose to celebrate this important milestone with a series of events that allowed us to strengthen ties with our partners and present the latest news from the brands represented.”

This concept was also echoed by Patrizia Ribaga, managing director of Global Gsa: “Relationships are at the heart of our market approach. We want to offer excellent support to agencies, with a team of professionals and a range of products and services of absolute value.”

Having firmly established itself over the years, Global Gsa closes 2023 with growth exceeding 20% compared to 2019, which was already an exceptional year. The company now boasts two offices, in Milan and Madrid, a staff of over 40 people, and a portfolio of 14 brands ranging from car rental, with Hertz, Dollar, Trhifty, and FireFly, to airlines Kenya Airways and Aircalin, from river cruises with AmaWaterways to the dmc of Sri Lanka and the Maldives Ayubowan Tours, in addition to strategic partnerships with Italo Ntv (for the Spanish market), Booking, and MyParking.

What better occasion than the tenth anniversary, then, to rewind the tape of the company’s history and take stock of news and future challenges with its founder Manlio Olivero, a historic figure in Italian tourism, with extensive experience behind him.
